SustainRecruit are thrilled to be partnering with a leading Financial Services firm in their search for a Tax Accountant to join their growing team. Our client has a rich history of over 100 years in Australia and being a large provider, this role sits within a team which will provide ample opportunities for growth and mobility across the business.
In this role, you will;
- Assist the team in the month end activities across the group
- Prepare tax calculations and compliance returns
- Complete tax reconciliations and processes, liaising with various divisions across the business to resolve issues
- Assist with the preparation of the groups consolidated tax return
- Assist in year-end audit activities related to direct tax matters across all business units.
- Ensure that tax documentation is accurate, aligned and reviewed in reference to requirements/processes
- Working with a range of key finance stakeholders on ad hoc projects
- CA/CPA qualified is preferred (or equivalent)
- 3+ years experience advising on tax matters
- Financial Services experience will be highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable and relationship driven mindset
