• Technology Evangelism – Represent the company as a subject matter expert, guiding customers toward innovative infrastructure solutions.
• Solution Design & Implementation – Build, configure, install, and support enterprise infrastructure across virtualisation, storage, and data protection .
• Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement – Collaborate with clients, create tailored solutions, and contribute to customer proposals .
• Documentation & Planning – Develop high-level and detailed design documents , change implementation plans, and technical validation and test plans .
• Project Execution – Lead project implementation, ensuring seamless deployment and customer handover.
• Technical Troubleshooting – Address and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.
• Operational & Support Documentation – Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and conduct quality control testing .
• Knowledge Sharing – Conduct technical handovers, facilitate training, and mentor junior engineers.
• Customer & Vendor Relationship Management – Work closely with clients, vendors, and distributors to ensure smooth operations.
• Industry Best Practices – Stay up to date with enterprise technology trends , maintain vendor certifications, and educate both customers and staff .

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions.
• Expertise in designing and implementing solutions in both brownfield and greenfield environments .
• Strong technical skills across:
  • Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, vSAN, Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Storage & Compute: NetApp ONTAP, HPE Server & Storage, Cisco UCS, HCI solutions.
  • Data Protection: Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, Cohesity, Druva.
• Experience designing, planning, and delivering data protection solutions using various strategies and products.
• Certifications in VMware, NetApp, Cisco, HPE (highly regarded).
• Ability to operate in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Strong ability to scope, create, and present IT technology solutions to customers.
• Proficiency in cloud computing and automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell).
