Network Operations Engineer

to play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimising network infrastructure while integrating DevOps methodologies into operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure components, ensuring efficiency and security.
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps, Git) for automation and configuration management.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise network configurations.
- Implement and refine DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
- Ensure availability, security, and compliance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Respond to network incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation, incident response procedures, and generate network performance reports.
- Degree qualified in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Operations Engineer with exposure to DevOps practices .
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network security principles .
- Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), monitoring tools , and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, DevOps, NetOps certifications) are a plus.
