ABOUT THE COMPANY
Join one of Australia’s leading health insurers as they embark on a critical Payroll Replacement Project within its Human Resources business unit. This initiative aims to enhance payroll processes and integrate seamlessly with Workday, ensuring efficiency and compliance. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst with strong experience in Payroll implementation projects to drive business requirements and vendor engagement. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and the vendor to define business needs, ensure seamless system integration, and support the successful delivery of a new payroll system . This is a 3-month initial contract with a high likelihood of extension , requiring immediate availability .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for the Payroll Replacement Project.
  • Act as the key liaison between HR SMEs, internal teams, and the vendor .
  • Ensure smooth integration of the new payroll system with Workday .
  • Support business process mapping and system configuration validation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to define workflows, reporting needs, and compliance requirements .
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align project objectives and timelines.
  • Provide ongoing support during testing, implementation, and post-go-live phases.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 2-3 years of Payroll system implementation experience (Mandatory) .
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday (Preferred) or other HR platforms .
  • Experience with ICHRIS Payroll System (Optional, but beneficial) .
  • Ability to engage directly with vendors , ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Strong business requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently as the sole BA on a project.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Immediate availability is essential.
