- Melbourne, 4 days onsite 1 day WFH
- Mission critical project with real-world impact
- Own iOS features e2e (build, launch, scale)
Melbourne | Onsite + 1 day WFH
We’re partnered with a rapidly scaling tech company developing real-world safety solutions used across high-risk environments. Their platform blends mobile, hardware, and real-time systems to deliver critical functionality when it matters most.
Already well-established across ANZ and the UK, they’re now gearing up for US expansion—making this a great time to join and have genuine impact on global scale.
This isn’t a “tickets and features” role.
They’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer who has owned products from concept through to release and beyond—someone who understands what it takes to ship, iterate, and scale in production.
You’ll be building mission-critical mobile functionality, working closely across product, hardware, and backend to deliver seamless, real-time user experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning iOS features end-to-end — from design through to release and ongoing optimisation
- Designing clean, scalable architecture (SwiftUI, MVVM, DI, Combine)
- Working across cross-functional teams to ship high-quality features
- Integrating real-time communication (MQTT/WebSockets)
- Building secure mobile capabilities (biometrics, secure storage)
- Supporting offline-first functionality with sync + local storage
- Contributing to code quality, testing, and engineering standards
- Mentoring others and influencing technical direction
What they’re looking for
- Strong iOS experience (5+ years) with Swift + SwiftUI
- Proven experience delivering apps end-to-end (ideally shipped and maintained live products)
- Solid architecture experience (MVVM, modularisation, DI)
- Experience working with real-time systems + APIs
- Exposure to hardware integrations (e.g. Bluetooth)
- Strong understanding of mobile security best practices
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, product-led environments
If you’re someone who enjoys taking ownership, shipping meaningful products, and seeing your work used globally, this is well worth a conversation.
