Documentation Business Analyst

A major insurer is building out their documentation squad on a large-scale transformation program and needs an experienced Business Analyst to come in and hit the ground running.

You’ll be working alongside the Documentation Lead and SMEs, translating business requirements into clear, actionable specs for the delivery team. The focus is customer-facing documents, certificates of insurance, policy wordings, schedules, notices, letters, so a sharp eye for accuracy, structure and consistency is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

• Eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements for customer-facing documentation
• Translating business needs into clear requirements for technical and delivery teams
• Process mapping, impact assessment and solution design
• Reviewing documentation to ensure alignment with business rules, product definitions and templates
• Facilitating workshops, walkthroughs and sign-offs with stakeholders
• Ensuring documentation meets governance, risk, compliance and audit standards
• Managing multiple deliverables across a fast-moving program

What we’re looking for:

• Strong BA fundamentals: requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation
• Experience with customer-facing documents (letters, schedules, notices, forms)
• Solid understanding of document structure, version control and consistency
• High attention to detail and a strong QA mindset
• Confident communicator who can influence and align technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in large, fast-paced program environments with high document volumes
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for customer comms

Nice to have:

• Insurance or financial services background
• Exposure to SmartComms or Guidewire
• Experience working alongside design, legal and compliance teams
