Project Manager – Financial Services

We are currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of complex, high-impact initiatives.

Reporting into the Head of Delivery, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery across key programs, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, process optimisation and scalable business outcomes. This role will play a critical part in delivering initiatives across client and regulatory streams, including areas such as client onboarding, wealth operations and AML-related programs.

You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution and delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives. Working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will engage with a broad range of stakeholders across business and technology teams, providing clear governance, reporting and risk management.

This role requires a strong delivery mindset, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will drive structured project outcomes while also identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance delivery frameworks and support continuous improvement across the organisation.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale, complex projects across business and technology functions
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution and delivery
• Drive process improvement and end-to-end process design to support scalability
• Engage and manage diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment and transparency
• Provide clear reporting to senior leadership on progress, risks and outcomes
• Apply Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies to support effective execution
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies across initiatives
• Support continuous improvement across delivery frameworks and practices

 
Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering complex projects within financial services
• Exposure to wealth management or regulated environments highly regarded
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology
• Experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• Agile or Scrum experience, with ability to work in hybrid delivery environments
• Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity and deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments
