Platform Engineer | 6 Month Rolling Contract | Sydney
$700–$800 p/d | 2 days per week in office
Join a high growth fintech delivering modern, scalable platforms that underpin critical financial products. You’ll play a key role in shaping and evolving a cloud first platform across AWS, Kubernetes and infrastructure automation.
What you’ll be working on:
- Building and evolving a cloud native platform across AWS, focused on scalability, resilience and performance
- Designing and managing Kubernetes environments to support containerised applications at scale
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, driving consistency across environments
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve deployment speed and reliability
- Enhancing monitoring, logging and alerting to ensure strong platform observability
- Working closely with engineering teams to enable self service environments and streamline delivery
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience across AWS (EC2, EKS/ECS, networking, IAM)
- Hands on Kubernetes experience in production environments
- Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Background in DevOps or platform engineering with CI/CD tooling
- Experience building and supporting cloud native, containerised systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams
