We are partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing organisation that specialises in advanced analytical and lab‑testing solutions used by major Food & Beverage manufacturers. As they continue to expand across Australia, we are seeking a National Sales Manager to lead the laboratory solutions portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high‑value product line and work closely with industry leaders in food processing, agriculture, and manufacturing laboratories.
The Opportunity In this national role, you will drive commercial strategy, build customer relationships, and grow market presence for a portfolio of cutting‑edge laboratory instrumentation—including Kjeldahl, Dumas, Soxhlet and NIR technologies.

Working across an established customer base and new strategic accounts, you will play a key role in supporting clients to improve quality control, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in laboratory environments and a passion for delivering solutions that make a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies across Food & Beverage manufacturing labs.
  • Drive growth of analytical laboratory equipment across existing and prospective customers.
  • Build strong relationships with laboratory managers, production teams, QA specialists and technical decision‑makers.
  • Deliver solution‑based sales presentations, demonstrations, and product guidance.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical, service and marketing teams.
  • Travel across Australia as required (up to approx. 50%).

About You Essential:

  • Experience working within commercial laboratories or Food/Agriculture manufacturing labs.
  • Solid understanding of Kjeldahl, Dumas, Soxhlet, NIR methods and related instrumentation.
  • Strong teamwork, planning capability, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Degree in Science, Engineering, or Business OR minimum 2 years in a related technical industry.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel.
  • Full Australian work rights.

Desirable:

  • Experience selling capital equipment or technical solutions.
  • Insight into lab workflows, preferably with NATA or Lab Manager background.
  • Established network within relevant industry sectors.
  • CRM/Salesforce exposure and intermediate MS Office skills.
  • Strong customer‑centric mindset with solution‑selling skills.
