Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Service Delivery team, supporting a major Core Banking Replacement Program. This role combines business analysis with application support responsibilities, ensuring stability of critical banking systems while contributing to ongoing transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user and application support for core banking systems, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability
- Act as a key point of contact for incident resolution, system queries, and production support activities
- Collaborate closely with external vendors to support and optimise banking payment platforms, including Direct Entry (DE), BPAY, and card transactions
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for change requests and system enhancements
- Lead the implementation of interest rate changes across lending and deposit products, including driving improvements to the rate change process
- Support and manage banking compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
- Contribute as a key project team member within the Core Banking Replacement Program
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services
- Strong background in application support or production support environments
- Solid understanding of core banking systems and payment platforms
- Experience working with vendors and managing stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge of lending and deposit products, including interest rate processes
- Familiarity with banking compliance and regulatory environments
- Experience working on large-scale transformation or core banking replacement projects
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
