We’re working with a global technology business that’s operating at the forefront of automation, software, and intelligent systems. With a strong presence across multiple industries, they’re known for delivering highly complex solutions at scale—and they’re continuing to invest heavily in technology and innovation.

They’re now looking for a 2nd Level Service Desk Support Engineer to join their team and help ensure the smooth operation of mission-critical customer systems across a global footprint

 
 

This is a hands-on support role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining system stability, resolving complex incidents, and supporting customers around the world.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Managing and resolving support requests via remote access
  • Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and escalations
  • Analysing system issues and identifying root causes quickly
  • Supporting globally distributed customer systems
  • Collaborating with development and service teams to resolve problems
  • Documenting incidents, procedures, and solutions
  • Providing optimisation suggestions and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Supporting junior team members and sharing knowledge

 

What They’re Looking For

  • Solid background in IT support / service desk (L2 level or similar)
  • Strong general IT knowledge across systems and infrastructure
  • Oracle SQL experience (queries, updates, analytical functions)
  • Basic Linux knowledge (shell commands)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (English essential)
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge
