About the Role:
An established banking client is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to take full ownership of the operational management and continuous improvement of their core banking platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role covering everything from day-to-day BAU through to major incidents, vendor escalations and transformation activity.

You will be responsible for the reliability, availability and performance of critical banking services. That means managing incidents, problems, changes and enhancements, running major incident response for P1/P2 events, and driving root cause analysis and permanent fixes. You will also provide governance over production changes and keep operational controls tight across monitoring, data integrity, batch processing, access management and recovery.

Beyond BAU, you will lead a team of technology professionals supporting core banking services, provide coaching and performance management, and build a strong service delivery culture. You will manage relationships with core banking vendors, hold them to their SLAs, and lead escalations when complex issues arise. You will also play a key role in core banking transformation, supporting migration planning, cutover, testing and post-implementation stabilisation.

To be considered, you will bring:

  • Strong experience managing enterprise core banking platforms in a banking or financial services environment
  • Significant Temenos T24 / Transact experience (other core banking platforms will be considered)
  • Proven capability across major incident, problem and change management in complex production environments
  • Solid people leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting core banking upgrades, migrations or transformation programs
  • ITIL certification or a strong IT service management background (desirable)

If you are a service delivery leader who thrives on operational stability, vendor accountability and continuous improvement, apply now or reach out for a confidential conversation.
