Product Designer — Design Systems & B2C Journeys
A well-established Australian organisation is looking for a Product Designer to join an experienced design team on a 6 month contract. The work spans the service space, online accounts, mobile web and native mobile, with a strong focus on optimising flows and end-to-end customer journeys.
This is a corporate environment with a mature, complex design system at the centre of how the team delivers. You’ll be designing within it, contributing to it, and working across multiple stakeholders to ship considered, consistent experiences at scale.
Who we’re looking for
You’re a Product Designer who has spent meaningful time in larger corporate or enterprise environments. You understand the rhythm of working in a big organisation, the stakeholder layers, the governance, the trade-offs between design ambition and delivery reality, and you can navigate it without losing momentum.
A generalist background is genuinely fine here. What matters more is depth and complexity: you’ve owned non-trivial B2C journeys end to end, you’ve worked inside (and contributed to) sophisticated design systems, and you can hold the bigger picture in your head while still executing on the detail in front of you.
You’ll bring:
- Solid commercial experience as a Product Designer, with a portfolio that demonstrates complex B2C journey work
- Hands-on experience working within a mature design system. Not just consuming components, but understanding how and why the system is structured the way it is
- Strong native mobile and responsive web design experience
- Experience optimising flows and journeys with a measurable impact
- The technical fluency to collaborate credibly with engineering partners
- Excellent people skills, this team works closely with a wide range of stakeholders and you’ll need to build trust quickly
- The ability to juggle multiple workstreams
- A longer-term corporate track record.
Details:
- Sydney based
- $800-$900 inc. super per day
- Interviews next week with a quick turn around.
