Business Analyst – Identity – 1IM

Seeking a highly experienced IDAM Business Analyst with deep 1IM expertise to join one of our leading financial services clients. This role is central to the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing maturity of the organisation’s enterprise Identity platform, with 1IM forming the backbone of access governance, provisioning, and role management.

You’ll operate as a trusted IAM partner across technology and security teams, supporting complex identity initiatives within a regulated, Zero Trust‑aligned environment.

The role will involve:

• Acting as a 1IM subject matter expert, supporting access governance, lifecycle management, and identity processes
• Eliciting, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements aligned to 1IM workflows, capabilities, and constraints
• Supporting 1IM onboarding and remediation, including application integrations and entitlement rationalisation
• Leading and supporting role engineering (RBAC) activities within the 1IM platform
• Analysing and documenting generic account usage and remediation strategies
• Supporting access control design and assurance, ensuring alignment with security controls and regulatory standards

Key experience required:

• Strong hands‑on experience with 1IM in an enterprise environment (essential)
• Deep understanding of IDAM concepts, including access provisioning, certification, and lifecycle management
• Excellent understanding of role engineering and RBAC within a 1IM context
• Good understanding of generic accounts and associated access risks
• Fair understanding of security controls within regulated or financial services environments
• Proven experience working within a Zero Trust security model
