Senior Front End Developer – 12-Month Rolling Contract – Sydney
Daily rate: $950–$1000 p/d inc S
Join a high-performing engineering team building large-scale consumer and transactional platforms used by millions of users across Australia. This role is heavily focused on modern React development within a fast-paced, high-traffic environment where frontend performance, scalability, and user experience are critical.
What you’ll be working on:
- Building and enhancing modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript across large-scale consumer platforms
- Developing responsive, high-performance UI components and customer-facing experiences
- Working closely with backend engineers, product teams, and designers in an agile delivery environment
- Contributing to frontend architecture, reusable component libraries, and performance optimisation initiatives
- Supporting real-time and transactional user flows across enterprise-scale applications
What you’ll bring:
- Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript in enterprise or high-traffic environments
- Experience building scalable frontend applications with a focus on performance and maintainability
- Exposure to consumer, e-commerce, fintech, payments, wagering, or other highly transactional platforms
- Strong understanding of modern frontend engineering best practices and component-driven development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams
Hybrid working arrangement with 2–3 days per week in the Sydney office.
