Scrum Master

Our client is an independent Australian non-bank lender backing thousands of Australians everyday. They’ve built a modern platform, they move fast, and they’re hiring a Scrum Master to join their delivery team in Sydney.
You’ll be the engine room of your squad. Working hand-in-hand with Product Owners, you’ll plan, manage and deliver solutions that genuinely move the needle for customers. Think less ceremony for ceremony’s sake, more clearing the path so your team can ship value every iteration.

What you’ll be doing:

• Running the rituals (standups, planning, retros, demos) and making sure they’re actually useful
• Tracking epic progress, deliverables and financials, keeping tools accurate and reporting on progress
• Coaching the squad in self-management and helping them focus on increments of value
• Removing blockers fast, or escalating when you can’t
• Partnering with Product Owners to keep goals, scope and the product domain crystal clear

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar delivery role
• Certified Scrum Master (SAFe certification highly regarded)
• Solid working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and agile delivery in general
• Strong leadership, facilitation and stakeholder engagement chops
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift
• Background in financial services, lending or fintech is a plus, not a must
