About the Role

This is a rare contract opportunity to join a well-established, globally operating business at a genuinely exciting inflection point, right as they transition from legacy manual processes to a modern, integrated ERP environment.
 
You’ll be embedded in a lean internal team, working closely with one key internal stakeholder and a range of external partners and vendors. The role sits at the intersection of finance, technology and proces, and the right person will be equally comfortable getting into the detail and driving the direction.
 
This is not a pure PM role, and it’s not a pure BA role. You’ll need to be all three: a process improvement specialist, a hands-on ERP and finance systems expert, and someone who can lead from the front when needed.
 
What You’ll Be Working On

• Building out Power BI reporting across finance functions, you’re joining at the exciting early stage of this workstream
• Automating invoice ingestion (currently a fully manual process) and streamlining the end-to-end purchase-to-pay cycle
• Data migration and historic data management
• Managing and improving financial processes including foreign exchange, stock and warehouse logistics
• Transitioning distributor purchasing onto the ERP system
• Teaching and upskilling internal staff on ERP usage and best practice
• Managing system logs as an ongoing operational function

 
About You
To be considered, you’ll bring:

• A strong finance background with hands-on experience in ERP systems: Microsoft Business Central and/or Dynamics 365 highly regarded
• Demonstrated process improvement experience, particularly across P2P, invoice management and finance operations
• Solid Power BI exposure and comfort with data and reporting builds
• The ability to operate as a BA, process specialist and project manager simultaneously, this role wears all three hats
• Experience working in lean teams with external vendors and partners
• Clear, confident communication skills, you’ll be teaching staff how to use systems, not just configuring them
• A “both in the trenches and directive” mindset, you know when to do and when to lead
